Our story begins in 2017 when I returned to Athens after a few years of working in Australia. It was during this time that I met my childhood friend Vasilis, who had been working as a sedan taxi driver in Athens for over 25 years. Being an electronic engineer and web designer, I made a promise to Vasilis to build a website for private transfers in Athens, and thus we chose the name Athens Cabs.
The success was immediate and far exceeded our expectations. Right from the start, Vasilis, as a driver, gained the trust of customers with his warm smile, extensive knowledge, love for Greece, and the provision of top-quality service. Simultaneously, the website, with its simple design and user-friendly features for browsing, booking, and immediate service support, played a crucial role in achieving this success.

Within a short period, we started receiving not only inquiries for transfers to the airport but also requests for private day trips in Athens and throughout Greece. People also approached us for information and advice on other places and islands across the country.
Consequently, we created sections dedicated to Private Tours and provided useful information on Greece Holidays in the most popular destinations in Greece.
The activities of Athens Cabs expanded as we introduced Van, Minibus and Coach Bus vehicles. This expansion allowed us to welcome more experienced drivers, thereby creating a friendly, personable, and professional team.
