Our experienced driver will pick you up from your location (hotel, airport, port etc.) and we will drive along the coastal Poseidonos Avenue which is a great part of the Athenian Riviera and is named after God Poseidon, through Glyfada and Voula both famous summer Athens attractions.

Then, we will make a stop at Vouliagmeni Lake which translates to “Sunken Lake”, a true gem of the Athenian Riviera. The lake was formed 2.000 years ago when the roof of a large cavern collapsed creating an earthquake. This cavern continues to a 3.123 meters (10.246 ft) long underwater labyrinth, while its end has never been discovered.
Currents pass through the flooded caves and supply the lake with warm seawater keeping the lake’s temperature at 21-24°C at all times, making it a year-round natural spa rich in minerals that are known for giving relief to bone and muscle problems.

Continuing through Varkiza and Saronida where you can go for a swim at their beautiful beaches if you want, we arrive at the legendary Cape Sounio. According to the Greek legend, when Aegeus the king of Athens believed that his son Theseus had died, he fell from the Sounio cliff to his tragic death, thus giving his name to the Aegean Sea.

Our final destination is the mighty Temple of Poseidon, one of the major monuments of the Golden Age of Athens, it was constructed in 444-440 BC and was consisted of 36 white marble columns from which 15 still stand to this day. At the center of the temple it would have contained a colossal ceiling-height bronze statue of God Poseidon.
There you can see and take photos of one of the most jaw-dropping sunset sceneries in the world.

Finally, you can enjoy a meal at the local restaurant before we head back to Athens.
